Our medium hold and low shine formula has a smooth and creamy texture that spreads easily through your hair. It provides excellent control over hair without fixing it into place unnaturally while our hydrating and nourishing ingredients leave a natural, low shine to the hair – giving it the look of healthy hair while helping it to be, well, healthy.

We believe hair should maintain some natural movement rather than be glued into place. You (and others) should be able to run your hands through it without ruining your style. Why we made it:

We like hair. We want our hair to look nice. We want our hair to be healthy. But as we used hair styling products during our time in college, we became disgusted by the insatiable use of harmful chemicals and single-use plastics in the “high-end” products available to us. We found that a product that checked our boxes of great performance, healthy ingredients, and sustainable practices simply didn’t exist…

So we created the Highland Glacial Clay Pomade to offer a natural, healthy alternative to the chemical-laden hair styling products that dominate the market. We wanted to create a product that not only helped achieve an immaculate and reliable style for your hair but also nourished it from the inside out. Our founders spent years researching and testing different natural ingredients to come up with a formula that met our needs and would serve the needs of others, regardless of their hair type and length.

Kidding, kind of… As we said earlier, our Glacial Clay Pomade formula makes it one of the most versatile styling products ever created. So if you have hair and like it to look a certain way, you’d make an excellent candidate for our Glacial Clay Pomade.

That said, if you’re looking for that high hold, high shine, chemically shaped kind of look – this probably isn’t the product for you. This ain’t your Pop’s pomade. The control and hold are on the medium/low end of the spectrum. And although our product is not matte, it is indeed low-shine, giving the hair a natural and hydrated appearance.

• Jojoba Oil: Helps to soften and smooth your hair, while also providing additional nourishment.
• Kaolin Clay: Textures to your hair and may support scalp circulation. 
• Canadian Glacial Clay: The magic… It moisturizes, texturizes, and detoxifies.
• Arrowroot Powder: Absorbs excess oil and adds volume.
• Vitamin E Oil: Natural antioxidant to promote scalp and hair health. Helps to preserve the product…

This largely depends on how frequently you’re using the product and how much you apply with each use. We find one container lasts the average Highland user 45-60 days with daily use. Those who use the product more sparingly may find a single container lasts them 70-120 days. 

While the amount you use  will vary depending on your hair type and the style you are trying to achieve, we do recommend daily application for best results. For crying out loud, The product nourishes your hair and scalp every time you use it!

Does it expire?

Yes, and we’re damn proud of the fact that it does! Personal care products that don’t expire should scare you… It requires a ton of nasty chemicals and preservatives to ensure a product can boast a shelf life of 2+ years. Highland Glacial Clay Pomade has an expiration date of two years from the date of manufacture. However, the product should be used within 4-6 months of opening the container to prevent bacterial growth and other funky issues you don’t want to encounter… Be proud of the fact that, just like the food you eat, the products you put onto your skin expire too.

How much does it cost?

Highland Glacial Clay Pomade is priced at $27.00 per unit. In personal care products, you generally get what you pay for.
